Civil Air Patrol 1st Lieutenant Leo Liberio said that I can not be a member of the Civil Air Patrol because I fly RC planes with Hemet Model Masters.

My new hearing aids are now lost after two days and constant questioning. Horizon Hobbies scammed me out of $602 one day ago and I have not gone on the site in SIX MONTHS. FRAUD investigation is on going. Maybe next year I can get back to Model Plane building as this is the third scam this year and the raising interest rates to 30% has forced me out.

Our control Line Club in Denver, the Rocky Mountain Aeromodelers, will be having a fun fly at my place, (Area 34) during that weekend for those who can't make it out to Muncie. It will be very cool to have the boats their this year!

Looking forward to it! Been coming since the first one.

I'm amazed that they didn't got a visit from the military, fbi or cia, because they invented a device that could control a apparatus from a distance, so then you would think that the government, fbi or cia would be worried as hell, because when 2 simple civilians could make this, then the enemy could make weapons that could attack the USA from a long distance and far away from the battlefield itself, so that should have sounded very scary to those who were in power.

IMO I think a model control line plane built for speed should still look like a plane. a fuse with one wing is not a plane. Speed run cars model or 1:1 still resemble cars.

Great video, those of us who love R/C Soaring history feel truly blessed to see this tribute for Dwight Holey and his beautiful Gobbler! I’m trying to find this particular magazine (Model soaring January 1982 issue) with the 1981 F3B World Champs report described in the video… if anyone can share info please help my search. Yes, that is a speed model. Not positive, but there "may" be a chance that it was built by Jim Noonan. It looks like one he may have constructed as it looks like his techniques...

I got to fly the BD Truck… out at Mojave.. saw it sitting out there and a guy standing next to it… I poked my head in the cockpit and the guy asked if I wanted to fly it… I got a film of it …

The Dornier DO335 model is such a nice-flying model, its looks great in the air and the added details that Derek added really make it stand out. And the little car is a cute addition to the display. Did you notice that the car could drive right under the airplane? The Do335 was a monster IRL. Loaded weight was about 5000lbs more than a P47. The new micro retracts that were previewed at the end of the interview are now available from Rabid Models.

Son and I built Hobby Lobby Pat Tritle design. Use Speed 400 in Mini-Olympus gearbox, flew nice and slow, scale-like.

What is up with having to carry 4 cards with me to fly at my local field, as in club members card, AMA member card, FAA card, and the Trust card. Can’t the AMA work a deal with the FAA and local clubs to add these proof of flying eligibility to one card? The new card design on front would be my AMA, FAA, and Trust test info in addition to my name, the back of card could be either printed listed club memberships or like a drivers license a donor sticker type of club issued small sticker. Let’s get some common sense together before it gets worse please! By the way the Trust test should be a thing you have to pass before even being issued the FAA card so can’t have one without the other, my driver’s license is proof I passed all the requirements to drive it’s the only way it is issued.
